Playful Passage n.7

Dear playful friends,

The last two or three weeks have been the most intense of the year for me so far. I started working as a psychologist in a psychosomatic clinic and used the remaining snippets of time to prepare the Insighttopia stand for the games festival in Vienna. To be honest, there were also a few days off on which I didn't do any preparation or follow-up work at all, but just tried to relax and rejuvenate my body and mind.

Anyway, yesterday was a really nice day when the pressure fell off me and pride and gratitude took over. First came some fresh Insighttopia shirts for the team and then the long-awaited first batch of Insighttopia games from the producer Azao from Belgium.

Playful practice 😜: Wait, see, just embrace to be lazy

It's not always the next cappuccino or night shift that you need to get ahead. It is also said that tense necks are the result of tense work. Diamonds need pressure to form, but some people forget that diamonds are born from within the earth. Grounding is a kind of weighting against buoyancy.

In pausing, two forces might come together: The desire to move forward and the realisation that what is needed to move forward has not yet fully emerged.

Being slack sometimes helps to create time and space for what still needs time. Impatience helps you stay on track when you know what to do next. Some friends of mine wash their rice before they cook it. I can't say whether it tastes better as a result. Why not go off the beaten track once in a while to experience something from the surrounding area and, in the best case, even take a shortcut? The direct path might be steep and full of exhaustion, but has a clear goal. The off-track indeed, is a no-one knows show. How do you want to proceed?
